Windows 7 bootmgr is missing-- Resolved Using WinRE
Perform the following methods to resolve the issue:
Method 1: Startup Repair from the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE)
============================================
1. Insert the Windows 7 installation disc into the disc drive, and then start the computer.
2. Press a key when the message indicating "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD …". appears.
3. Select a language, a time and currency, and a keyboard or input method, and then click Next.
4. Click Repair your computer.
5. In the System Recovery Options dialog box, choose the drive of your Windows installation and click Next.
6. At the System Recovery Options Dialog Box, click on Repair your computer.
7. Click the operating system that you want to repair, and then click Next.
8. In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click Startup Repair.

Using Link2SD on Gingerbread (Tested on GT-S5830 Galaxy Ace)
If you install Link2SD on Gingerbread, you'll get notification "mount warning" every turn on your handheld. This is caused by two lines in the file init.rc that is marked by #. so you have to remove it so that it becomes like the picture below:
See the top two lines. The two lines that I mean is:
service flash_recovery /system/etc/install-recovery.sh
one shoot
About how to remove the marks on that two lines you need Linux based system. If you won't to do that, you can download the firmware which I have edited here. The firmware on that link is XWKS9 (S5830XWKS9_S5830XEOKP2_XEO).
Below is screenshoot from my GT-S5830 Galaxy Ace before and after apply Link2SD. This is screenshoot after flashing the firmware that I have edited:
Then I install GunsNGlory, Clouds & Sheep and Tank Hero from the market. Available space on internal phone storage is reduced from 151MB to 147MB.
Then I install Link2SD from the market. Here is the screenshot "Storagr Info" from Link2SD before I create link:
After I create link, internal phone memory increased from 147MB to 150MB. Below is screenshoot from "SD card and phone storage settings" and then Storage Info on Link2SD:

Cara Flashing/Ganti FW di Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830
Yang perlu dipersiapkan:
Do'a
Minuman dan Camilan (opsional)
Samsung Galaxy Ace
Kabel Data bawaan
KIES (atau bisa juga driver kabel Samsung)
ODIN + file cooper.ops
Firmware DXKP9 2.3.4 (Official Ginger Bread Versi SSC)
Persiapkan dahulu semua yang diperlukan diatas, download KIES, ODIN + file cooper.ops dan Firmware. Untuk ODIN + file cooper.ops sudah disertakan apabila Anda mendownload dari link Firmware di atas.
Langkah-langkah:
Install KIES atau Driver Kabel Samsung terlebih dahulu.
Ekstract firmware yang sudah didownload. Pada gambar dibawah terlihat sudah terdapat program ODIN dan file cooper.ops. Kalau download dari link lain, silahkan download juga program ODIN dan file cooper.ops.
Pastikan KIES sudah di-exit, lalu jalankan ODIN.
Tekan tombol tengah bawah + Volume Down lalu colokkan USB dengan tetap menekan kedua tombol tadi.
Akan muncul tulisan downloding di layar Ace
Tunggu sampai di aplikasi ODIN keluar angka portnya pada Com port mapping
Pada bagian Option centang semua kecuali bagian "One Package", kemudian di bagian Debug Option hilangkan tanda centang pada "Debug ONLY".
Klik tombol OPS lalu pilih Cooper_v1.0.ops di folder hasil extract rom tadi
Klik tombol BOOT lalu pilih APBOOT_S5830XXKPH_CL260130_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5
Klik tombol Phone lalu pilih MODEM_S5830DXKP9_CL457456_REV03.tar.md5
Klik tombol Pda lalu pilih CODE_S5830DXKP9_CL457456_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5
Klik tombol CSC lalu pilh CSC_S5830OLBKP9_CL457456_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5
Kalau sudah seperti gambar diatas, klik tombol Start.
Tunggu prosesnya hingga selesai, seperti gambar dibawah ini:
Selesai. HP Anda akan restart sendiri dan booting seperti biasa.

Wifi Atheros di Slackware 13
Download Madwifi di http://snapshots.madwifi-project.org/ pilih yang terbaru.
Lakukan perintah dibawah ini:
# tar xfvz madwifi-xxx.tar.gz
# cd madwifi-xxx
# make
# make install
Apabila sudah selesai install WiCD yang terdapat di DVD Slackware 13.
Bangkitkan ulang daemon networking lewat perintah /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1 restart lalu tekan Enter.
Selesai.
Catatan:
Apabila menemukan error "Operation not possible due to RF-kill" lakukan langkah berikut:
# rfkill unblock wifi
Lalu ulangi langkah untuk membangkitkan ulang daemon networking.

Mengaktifkan Mode AHCI/RAID Setelah Install Windows
Well, nemu cara efektif untuk mengaktifkan AHCI/RAID mode ketika menginstall Windows XP. Jadi selama ini bila ingin menginstall Windows XP dengan mengaktifkan SATA AHCI Controller, biasanya menggunakan Nlite untuk menambah driver SATA AHCI ke master Windows XP.
Dengan cara ini, kita tidak perlu repot-repot untuk membuat dahulu master Windows XP yang sudah ada driver SATA AHCI-nya. Jadi begitu mau install tinggal masuk saja ke BIOS, non-aktifkan fitur SATA AHCI kemudian install Windows XP seperti biasa hingga selesai. Setelah selesai baru kita lakukan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut:

Note that, Intel does not support pure ICH8/ICH9 chipsets that are set to AHCI mode, and does not provide AHCI drivers for those chipsets. Asus P5B Motherboards are examples that are affected by this situation. But with this package you can enable and use AHCI mode with pure ICH8/ICH9 chipsets that have AHCI support enabled through Motherboard Bios.

- Untuk mode AHCI impor "Intel_AHCI_Merge.reg" dan untuk mode RAID impor "Intel_RAID_Merge.reg". Ingat!!! Impor salah satu saja yang sesuai dengan sistem yang ada.
- Copy file "iaStor.sys" ke "system32\drivers" pada direktori/folder Windows. File yang disertakan ini merupakan versi v8.9.0.1023 dari Intel. Apabila diperlukan, bisa diganti dengan update versi terbaru dari Intel.
- Lakukan reboot, kemudian masuk kembali ke BIOS untuk mengaktifkan mode AHCI atau RAID pada ports SATA.
- Silahkan booting ke Windows dan selesai.

Install Clamav di Ubuntu dan Update Via Proxy (Install Clamav in Ubuntu and Update Via Proxy)
Add this on Software Source:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit on Compaq Presario CQ20
Setelah selesai install Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit di Compaq Presario CQ20 dan menginstall seluruh driver yang didownload di website resmi HP (HP dan Compaq website drivernya jadi satu) untuk CQ20 dengan OS Windows 7 64-bit, di Device Manager masih terdapat "Unknown Device". Apabila kita lihat detailnya di Hardware Ids-nya adalah ACPI\HPQ0004 seperti gambar di bawah ini (catatan: gambar ini di capture setelah driver terinstall, jadi sudah terlihat nama devicenya):

Ketika ACPI\HPQ0004 kita cek di devid.info menurut databasenya adalah HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor namun disitu terlihat untuk XP XP64. Pernah membaca di suatu artikel bahwa apabila driver untuk Windows 7 belum ada, maka bisa memakai driver untuk Windows Vista. Berdasar artikel tersebut, Saya coba cari lagi di website HP untuk mencari driver yang cocok dengan kriteria pencarian Windows Vista 64-bit dan alhamdulillah ketemu di alamat http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=2100&lc=en&cc=id&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=3809526#N515

Troubleshooting Windows XP Hang (Windows XP Hang? Solusinya)

Cari seperti gambar dibawah ini:
Lalu dobelklik tulisan Windows di sebelah kanan sehingga muncul window seperti gambar dibawah ini dan ganti nilainya yang tengah menjadi 8192. (baca penjelasan berikutnya di bawah)
Ternyata tiga angka itu adalah memori dalam *Kilobyte* yang disediakan Windows sebagai berbagai jenis heap desktop.
Kecil banget???! Jelas aja cepet hang meskipun RAM segede gaban. Jadi yang salah bukan RAMnya, tapi desktop heapnya.
Katanya yang penting sih yg di tengah. 3072 edit aja jadi 8192 misalnya. Sepertinya habis itu perlu restart kompi.

Install Oracle 10g di Windows 7
Berhubung harddisk hanya 160GB, maka hanya diinstall tiga OS saja. WinXP mau dipakai yang lain, mau diinstall di Linux kok tidak sesuai dengan yang "dipraktekkan" tiap hari, akhirnya harus di Win7. Tapi begitu diinstall di Win7 kok version compatibility error. Akhirnya ketika chat sama seorang yang jago coding dikasih link berikut http://www.exforsys.com/tutorials/oracle-10g/oracle-database-installation.html dibaca dan ketika ada kesempatan dicoba tapi setelah selesai installasi sqlplus tidak bisa dipakai, sqlplusw juga tidak bisa. Kenapa?
Chatting lagi dan bertanya ke senior, dibilang memang sqlplusw.exe di Oracle 10g tidak compatible dengan Win7, mana lupa password default sys sama system padahal sqlplus tidak bisa dipakai. Akhirnya googling lagi dan menemukan blog ini http://en.blog.unikom.ac.id/installing-oracle-10g-for.129 dan alhamdulillah semua bisa berjalan. Ya setidaknya sampai tulisan ini dibuat sudah bisa pakai sqlplus.exe maupun sqlplusw.exe untuk login ke database. Habis ini mau coba impor dulu.

Chatting lagi dan bertanya ke senior, dibilang memang sqlplusw.exe di Oracle 10g tidak compatible dengan Win7, mana lupa password default sys sama system padahal sqlplus tidak bisa dipakai. Install Avast di Ubuntu 10.04

Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal) on AO751h with Intel GMA 500
After installation, I got the message that the graphic does not support Unity and are advised to select the previous interface. Finally Gnome Ubuntu 10.04 which became the default interface.
Curious to try Unity, I am trying to update the correct drivers for the Intel GMA 500 with trying to step on https: / / launchpad.net / ~ GMA500 / + archive/psb110 but it hangs when booting ubuntu 11:04.
Finally I tried the next step on https: / / code.launchpad.net / ~ GMA500 / + archive / emgd as follows:

Memperbaiki Grub Ubuntu 10.04
Kita cari linux ada di partisi mana
pada gambar di atas, linux ada di /dev/sda6
setelah diketahui, kita mulai menjalankan perintah dibawah ini:
Selesai dan silahkan melakukan reboot.
Untuk mengedit tampilan grub, setelah masuk Ubuntu kembali, buka terminal kemudia ketik:
$ sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst
setelah diketahui, kita mulai menjalankan perintah dibawah ini:
Selesai dan silahkan melakukan reboot.

Update Firmware E160
Jangan tancapkan dahulu E160
Download dahulu Dashboard dari Vodafone di link ini.
Install Dashboard yang baru saja di download, Anda akan diminta untuk merestart Windows.
Tancapkan E160, seharusnya komputer mengenali E160 Anda.
Download Firmware Update dan Dashboar Update
Kemudian jalankan Firmware Update, apabila ditanyakan kode untuk update firmware, klik disini dan masukkan nomor IMEI modem Anda. Catat nomornya dan masukkan. Kemudian ikuti prosesnya hingga selesai.
Langkah selanjutnya, jalankan Dasboard Update. Ikuti langkahnya hingga selesai.
Selesai dan silahkan dicoba.

Extract dulu filenya
Ketik: tar -zxvf umtsmon-0.9.i386.tar.gz
Sebelum bisa dijalankan, install dependencynya dulu
Ketik: sudo apt-get install libqt-mt
Diskonek modem 3g (apabila dial dari modem 3g)
